Do Not Print.]--- ---------------------------------121051040020023 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain 2 main hangups... 1) When issuing "LoadBSD -b NetBSD" then inserting the raw-wrote install disk, the Kernel panics with message "panic:cannot mount root" after I enter "fd0<cr>". Rawwrite wrote 160 tracks.. Is it supposed to use a HD floppy? If so then I need a smaller filesystem image for a DD Drive. Actually, I issued "loadbsd -b -p -c 2000 NetBSD" (It thought my machine was a 1200 and it was using 16-bit memory instead of 32-bit) 2) I have an IVS Vector 030 accelorator.. The docs tell how to format HD partitions for NetBSD using HDToolBox. IVS_SCSIvector.device does not seem to agree with HDToolBox and causes a Guru error. The docs on the Vector utils say that it wll not format custom Dostypes. Suggestions ??
