Here is a little brain teaser for all of you. I am having TERRIBLE problems setting up
dialin access for BSDi.
I am getting lots of help from BSD but it still isn't working. The problem is that I am
new to UNIX and I am not exactly sure as to what is going on. I have both a BOCA 14.4
and a SUPRAFAX 14.4 modem which I have "tip"ed and set as follows:
AT&F2 (Factory default)
AT e0 q1 &q6 &k3 &d3 &c1 s0=1 &w

I have /etc/ttys tty01 entry set using "bidir.57600 unknown on".

I was successful dialing in at one time from remote, however I have been unable to repeat
the process. I have also experienced the following: Whenever I log in from remote, the
remote client gets the connect message and then NOTHING... on the server side when I
kill the getty/tty01 process the Remote host suddenly springs to life with the "Login:"
message. I am completely baffled.

How should my modem be set??? What should the tty01 setting be??? What can be causing
this weird stuff????

HELLLLPPPP!!!!!
