I thought the sequence of events for adding a new disk to FreeBSD 2.0
was:
	disklabel -w sd1
	newfs	....etc....

When I attempt to label the disk, the system tells me that
	/dev/rsd1c device not configured

even though the system boot messages found sd1 during the SCSI scan, and
the sys/conf files have sd0 --> sd3 configured.

Is there some other program I need to run or something else I need to
configure before sd1 is available to use?

I even tried a MAKEDEV sd1 but it didn't seem to help.

Thanks in advance!!!

Randy
