I'm trying to install netbsd-1.0 on my pentium. It has a
1gig scsi (micropolis) and an ide aha1542C controller. My problem is
that I get messages that look like this and causes everything to fail

fd0a: hard error writing fsbn 108 of 104-111 (st0 44<abnrml_head> st1
10<data_overun>)

fd0a: soft error writing fsbn 56 of 56-63

etc ....

Anybody know why it does this and how it can be overcome?

btw my disk geometry is 2428cylinders, 9 heads, 93 sectors
