Okay ... so my hint wasn't enough.  Yes, DOOM was developped on a NeXT 
Cube.  Yes, the wonderfull CERN World-Wide-Web stuff you see today was 
first developped under NEXTSTEP as well.  

Yes, NEXTSTEP is a *great* development environment ...  but I like it 
simply for its academic and home use.

As for specs on DOOM 2 running under NEXTSTEP ... check out Omni Group, 
at http://www.omni.com/ and cruise into their "software" section.  Yes, 
DOOM 2 runs under *all* NEXTSTEP systems ... some better then others ... 
having more CPU and better display system helps ... n'est ce pas ?
