i've tried to compile Term (2.2.4) under FreeBSD 2.0 - it worked with the
netbsd configure and i think some very small changes - but i get problems if
i use it on the remote machine: at home FreeBSD + Term 2.2.4 and remote
FreeBSD + Term 2.2.4 works at the beginning but if i run emacs and then
leave it (c-x c-c) this session (opend with trsh from my home machine) hangs
- this doesn't happen if Linux + Term 2.2.4 is running on the remote machine
or i use a DEC alpha with OSF/1 3.0 + Term 2.2.4 as remote machine -> the
only small difference i see between FreeBSD and the other ones is that i get
a:
Warning: no access to tty (Inappropriate ioctl for device).
Thus no job control in this shell.
at the remote machine under FreeBSD and not under the others -> may this be
the reason that it will not work correctly - because emacs (and some other
app's which use the terminal-capabilities) get confused by this "not right a
terminal" - has anybody seen this too or better -> a solution ?

p.s.: all the lineparameters (term escapes in termrc etc.) are ok
