Hi everybody,

I've got a PC with an Adaptec 1542B SCSI host adapter here and I
want to use a SCSI streamer with it. My Wangtek 5150ES streamer
doesn't work with FreeBSD so I want to purchase another QIC-150
device.

I can get my hands on a Caliper streamer (SCSI1) and the one who
sells it says it's also known as a Commodore 3070 (I think he used
it with his Amiga).

Please gimme a small mail containing your (good or bad) experiences
with such a thing if you're using one. Thank you!

Greetings,

Martin

P.S.: My question referring to a CD-ROM server based on FreeBSD was
answered by some very helpful people. Thanks to all - I'm going to
give you a summary of my experiences with it as soon as it's here.
I wanted to use 5 Toshiba CD-ROM drives (XM5201) and they take a
while until they're here...
