I think there is an option in OS2 fdisk to enable or disable boot manager,
and to delete the partition. However, it is nearly impossible to
recombine the free space to any of the adjecent partitions on the disk
without remaking the corresponding filesystem.
As a replacement for the boot manager, there are different flavors of 
boot managers available (should be something about that in the FAQ(?)).
