If my memory serves me right, the DEPCA uses an INTEL 82586 LANCE. There was
a recent posting for an "ie_driver" based on this chip. It should work, or it
should be not too difficult to modify it.

X386 will run with a standard VGA card, in 640x480 resolution with an
entry in Xconfig for the 25 or 28 MHz clocks which are always present.
