Summary: xinit dies at startup?!?
X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 #59 (NOV)

I have just reinstalled FreeBSD-1.1 from CD and then installed Xfree using my
old Xconfig. When I startup xinit, it starts the X server which changes video
mode on my monitor then changes it to the old video mode and then the server
terminates without any error message, but xinit complains about "connection to
server at 0:0 lost".

Why is the server terminating????

How do I get some more info????

I did try "X -verbose" without any effect.

Please help.

Regards
