Hi, folks. Got another couple of problems.

First, man is not placing formated man pages into .../man/cat[1-8].
I created these directories, checked their permissions, and I
checked the source for man, but I don't know what is going wrong.

What I expect is that when I type 'man ls', the man prog will
uncompress and then nroff the file /usr/share/man/man1/ls.1.gz,
place the formatted copy in /usr/share/man/cat1/ls.1, and display
the page. The next time I type 'man ls' it should display the
file /usr/share/man/cat1/ls.1.

However, nothing gets placed into cat1 and I have to reformat
next time I want to see the man page.

I don't want to format ALL of my man pages, just the ones I use.

Second problem:

Is .rhosts supposed to work? I tried a number of formats with
both rsh and rlogin, none of them work. What am I doing wrong?
Ownership was user, group, permissions were 600.

Thanks,
-David
