Summary: I don't know what i'm doing...
Keywords: serial, kermit, com, tty

Under ms-dos I'm using com2 at 03E8 on IRQ3
this is where my modem is... and it works fine...
but under NetBSD 1.0 I can't find it...

dmesg produced these messages at boot:

pc0 at isa0 port 0x60-0x6f irq 1: color
com0 at isa0 port 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4: ns82450 or ns16450, no fifo
com2 at isa0 port 0x3e8-0x3ef irq 5: ns82450 or ns16450, no fifo
wdc0 at isa0 port 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq 14

I turned the tty0? on in /etc/ttys... and I tried rebuilding the
kernel with different IRQ settings... I still get the device not
configured message... so, what does this really mean, and what
do I need to change...

  Thanks,
