I still have not solved the problem (due to lack of answers from the net :)
that I cannot boot my 1GB M2266S-512 disk with AH1542A.

Terry Lambert (Terry, are you listening?) hinted that he wanted to work on asboot
to look at the partitions of the as disk.

It seems to me that presently only the standard installation (5MB swap)
is possible. I have partitioned my disk with 32MB swap, 64 MB root, rest /usr
but when I then boot the disk, it hangs.
