I'm trying to hook a getty on a serial device of my FreeBSD 2.0 box,
but login doesn't work properly.

The symptoms:
-	when getty spanws the login process I have to terminate
the password with a \n (\r doesn't work any more)
-	when I enter the correct password (with \n) login tells me
	that the password is incorrect
-	if I rlogin/telnet all goes well

I tried to put some fprintf in login.c but all I discovered is:
-	for some weird reason the icrnl flag is reset
-	the crypt() function fails without any reason (the password is
absolutely correct and the pwd structure hold the right
	password entry)

Any hint?
