I am the guy who deleted his kernel. I managed to copy the kernel back
using the fixit utility on the install disk. However, it is nw caught in
an endless loop, where whenever I boot up, I get sysinstall and then the
bindist install.

the kern messages say "running sysinstall as init"

How do I get rid of this to boot normally. (Note, I did not re download
the bindist, do I have to?)

Thanks again in advance
Please email and post repsonses, if you would (my newsfeed is slow)
