With some help from this newgroup, I got FreeBSD
to load from my CDRom drive. Now the problem is
when I try to install X. Using the included installation
program, I can install all the options I want (the binsist,
games, man pages, ...), but when I try to install
X, I either get a checksum error or the computer locks
up when it begins installation (It just sits there with
the install message on the screen, no cdrom activity, no
hard drive activity.). Do I have a bad CD or am
I just not doing something correctly?
