Will the 1 gig IDE drives available now function on a standard IDE controller if all they are doing is running BSD?  I use BSDI but figured Id ask here.  My CMOS configures user defined harddrives so > 1024 shouldnt be a problem.

I heard EIDE is only to break old DOS limits...
