Summary: Can't resolve hostnames on Internet

Greeting!

I have a problem with my Pentium PC running BSD 4.3.
I set up all the DNS database files for the "named".
My machine can "nslookup" the hostnames of our local
network but NOT those outside our network, Internet.
However, my machine can "ping" both the local and
outside hosts on the Internet.

I double checked the syntax (I even check the if non-
printing characters) of the DNS database files and
they are correct. This made me lost. I couldn't
figure out what went wrong!!!

Can someone kindly help me out of it? I need the
solution desparately...

Thanks for the attention.
