I am trying to download an 8mm COMPUSTAT data tape, it is formatted for universal
charater. The only information I have to go off of is this:
	1600 BPI
	9 Tracks
	1 Reel

Would anyone have any idea of what to use to copy this down to a filesystem. I have tried cpio, dd,
tar, and restore, but am not sure of the correct parameters for any to get this to work, and most I get a
I/O errror and it quits. I am running a SUN SLC with an exabyte drive on /dev/nrst0...

							Thanks in advance,
