This is not quite correct. HP has a division (Disk Memory Division) that 
makes disk drives. HP also has many divisions that use disk drives 
in their products. The HP divisional structure means DMD
must compete with external drive makers such Seagate and IBM for
the business of the HP divisions that use disk drives. So that is
why when you buy a drive from HP intended for a HP computer system, 
you SOMETIMES get a Seagate or IBM drives rather than HP drives.
