Run down of what has work so far and what my compile looks like. 1) I have the BSDisc from DiscNet-InfoMagic. I extracted and patched ports/x11/olvwm/, ports/x11/xview-clients/, ports/x11/xview-config/, and ports/x11/xview-lib/ into /usr/X11R6/src/ 2) The only thing I could get to compile completely was xview-lib/ and I did do a 'make install' after the compile. 3) The stuff in the olvwm/, and xview-clients/ do not seem to be compileable until after I compile the stuff in xview-config/. The problem is, at one point the compile make errors out with the error: /include/sys/wait.h:99: redefinition of 'union wait' does anyone have a clue what's going on here? 4) Where do I put all of this stuff once I get a successful compile? Can I just do a 'make install after each compile a hope for the best? 5) what are the relations of ports/x11/olvwm/, ports/x11/xview-clients/, ports/x11/xview-config/, and ports/x11/xview-lib/ ? jam -- ********************************************************************** * John A.
