Okay, in your Mouse Section in your /usr/X11R6/lib/XF86Config file you 
should have these lines:

Protocol "MouseMan"
Device "/dev/cua01"

Also, do this: (you must be root)
cd /dev
./MAKEDEV cua01

THEN, run X! :-)
