Hello!

Does anybody know whether there are different kinds of UART 16550
chips, regarding the internal buffer? I thought that there are
always only 16 bytes of buffer on the chip, but there is rumor some
16550 brands have more. Perhaps somebody knows about some details.

What brands of intelligent serial adapters are/will be supported by BSD?
A swiss company just brought out a very promising intelligent card ("Tussi")
for just 350 deutschmarks (compared to the 700 deutschmarks the two port
DigiBoard card costs). Will there be a BSD driver?

Thanks for every bit of information, Tom.
