So now I'm communicating with my ami only this time through an xterm. I'm
quite pleased with myself after fixing tty00 (with alot of help from some
people on the net) after totally screwing it up. Now I finally have linked
all the man stuff to display in xman and gee, whouldn't be nice to print
something. Oh No... I notice on bootup that the printer deamon has no lp?

lpd[69] cannot find /dev/lp no such device.

But wait a minute. The device should be par0? Perhaps I should ask someone
first this time. After all MAKEDEV never makes a /dev/lp or am I missing
something or things. The printcap doesn't look like it's going to work even
if /dev/lp gets created. That's all for now. As usual any and all help will
be humbly and greatly appreciated.
