A friend of mine had a : couple of the new ones catch fire on him. I'll add my voice against Seagate. I will never buy another one, especially a SCSI Seagate. My experience is that their weird termination throws off the termination of most other devices. I could not get more than 3 devices working on any channel no matter what I did as long as the Seagate was in that channel. I finally pulled it, even though I needed the disk space.
