The installation instructions tell you to switch between screen 1 and 2
(ALT-F1 & ALT-F2). When the XFree 3.1 installation appeared to have
stopped, if you had switched to screen 2, you would have seen that it
was waiting for your installation selections. With XFree 3.1 you have
to specify which server(s) and other binaries to install.
