hi. it seems that when i boot up NetBSD, the NCR driver reports
that it is doing transfers asynchrously. is there a way to get
the controller to do synchronous transfers?? i heard this method
was faster... also, if this is important--i only have one scsi
device. one other thing i wsa curious about was an option in
tunefs.. the maxcontig value. suposedly this defaults to one. is
there a way to know what the maximum value i may use with this?

i would really appreciate any info anyone has on these things.. :)
