	Well, I started this morning by backing up everything to tape,
and I now have a rudimentary FreeBSD system up and running.  It's a lot
more work to set up than Linux(SlackWare), but it's coming along nicely.

	Compiling the kernel for the first time right now.... ;-)
	
	Thanks to all who have responded via private email, too.  I think
I made the correct decision in switching... it's just going to take a
while to get this thing set up again to the point I had the Linux system
set up.  All that customization takes a long time!!
