Motif is a commercial product put out by the OSF (Open Software Foundation). Motif 1.2.x is available from a variety of suppliers including ourselves, but the only Motif for Linux on CD (currently) is the new SWiM 2.0, which is a port of the new Motif version 2.0. This CD will be available in about 3 weeks and will list for $199, although you may find it for less. We have SWiM-Motif 2.0 available on diskette (6) at an introductory offer of $175 that includes 160 pages of printed docs, and the CD as soon as it becomes available. Watch comp.os.linux.announce for availability of this CD. In all cases: source for Motif and the libraries are not (legally) available. Hope this helps. Cheers, Bob.
