1) Build a new kernel with the debugger included (see 3 below)

2) Run the messdos install/configuration software and set the I/O to 300
and the irq to 10.

3) Fix the kernel code that causes the system to panic near the end of the
boot process when the driver is in the kernel and the card is installed.

I have been meaning to do 3) one of these days but have been busy.
