To use the bus mouse you need to do two things:

1) Modify and rebuild the kernel to add the following device:

device		mse0	at isa? port 0x23c tty irq 4 vector mseintr


2) Edit /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config to include the following:

# Pointer section
# **********************************************************************

Section "Pointer"

#    Protocol	"Microsoft"
     Protocol	"BusMouse"
     Device	"/dev/mse0"
