I find it very insulting, and untrue. It is *really* a pity when
big name publications have to resort to lies such as the ones listed above.
I have thoroughly explored most of the linux system. As an avid user
of this great work of software, I can well justify my high thinking of
this operating system.

: o linux is really not free

	Ummmm...says who? I ftp'ed it from tsx-11.mit.edu and
sunsite.unc.edu with no money lost whatsoever. I think what the
writer might be referring to is the support issue. I don't see
how support can get any cheaper than the comp.os.linux.* newsgroups....
FREE! This writer is an asshole....definately :-)

: o linux users are as neurotic as Amiga fans

Oh...Am I? :-) I consider myself pretty mild. Basically, all
I have to say to that is, the Linux guru can defend his operating system
pretty well, and doesn't have to make up facts like Amiga Users. I mean,
realisticly, I don't come storming into the newsgroup and claim that linux
on a 486 is 20 times as fast as 10 MP sparc's (I know some Amiga users
who would attempt this :)

: o linux is difficult to install (their senior systems analyst
      apparently failed to install it)

Hmmm... I hope he doesn't lose his job. He must be pretty
dumb. I bet he was trying to install it on a 286. hahaa. What a prick.
I installed Linux in a half hour and have been using it ever since.
My computer hasnt been off in ages.

: o linux should be called "underwear"!

How bout I call the author a lying asshole. Good enough? Yeah,
the prick should TRY IT OUT before writing an article that belongs in
comp.os.minix.advocacy (if there existed a newsgroup like this. SAYYY,
wait a second...! IS the authors name Andy Tannenbaum? hahaha. FYI,
Andy Tannenbaum was the very haughty creater of the minix shitty operating
system. He happened to be silenced by Linus Torvalds in a thread that
started in January of '92. Some attempt at revenge, if is was him! :)

Just my little ol' comments....and the TRUTH.
