hi *BSD users,

Postgres Version 4 Release 2 ported for FreeBSD-2.0,
and NetBSD-1.0-i386 are available on s2k-ftp.cs.berkeley,edu,
ftp.cdrom.com, ftp.demon.co.uk, ftp.laas.fr, ftp.cyber.net.hk.

gzipped size of each archive amount to about 3.6MB containing
all the documents, man pages, libpq.so.4.2, tests, utilities
and are supposed to be installed on /usr/local/postgres.

in case you want a port of the ORDBMS on other platforms, e.g. mac68k,
sparc, hp300, upcoming arcorn, amiga, pmax, sun3, da30, or vax for *BSD,
mail me an user account at clarence@cyber.net.hk and let's discuss on
what we can do for each other.

have fun with the ports,

clarence chu

p.s. try sqrt(-1.0) on your unix!
