I have been trying to get my qic 80 drive to work. It is the one that is
attached to the floppy controller. when I try :

tar cvzf - /usr |ft "/usr save"

I get the following message:
/dev/rft0: Operation not supported by device

I cant seem to figure out how to get this to work.
(yes, I did place "tape ft0 at fdc0 drive 2"
in the kernl config file, and recompiled etc )
Thanks in advance for any help.
