Hello,

What is the best way to get man/xman to search paths other than
/usr/share/man for manual pages? I have added /usr/X11R6/man and
/usr/local/man to the manpath.config file with no results. I have even
created a MANPATH environ variable using ...

	setenv MANPATH /usr/share/man:/usr/X11R6/man:/usr/local/man

but then everytime I do a man I get two messages saying ...

Warning: couldn't stat file /usr/X11R6/man!
Warning: couldn't stat file /usr/local/man!
No manual entry for xedit

... even though I know those directories exist and that a manual page for
xedit exists in /usr/X11R6/man/man1. Xman does not find anything in those
directories either. It seems that /usr/share/man is the ONLY directory that
is ever searched. What's up? It worked before, and all I remember doing was
adding /usr/X11R6/man and /usr/local/man to my MANPATH environment variable.
HELP!

	Many thanks!
