I have FreeBSD Ver 2.0 installed on a 486DX2. It has a 16550 UART
connected to an Intel 14.4 modem. I get silo overflows at 19.2 38.4
and 57.6. I haven't tried 14.400 yet. I had assumed that it was a
problem with the driver, but after reading these postings, I guess
that others aren't experiencing the same problems. Can anybody point
me in the right direction as far as how I can troubleshoot this. The
overflows happen when I'm ftp'ing as I guess that's the most intense
trafic I generate. It's qute a problem as it always ends up with the
machine crashing and rebooting itself.

Any help is appreciated.
