Hi,

Thanx to Bruce Evans and Daniel Ortmann, I have finally been able to
build a kernel that will recognize my internal modem (Gateway 2000
Telepath I 14.4k) on COM 1 IRQ 4.

However, I still cannot access the modem once the system came up.
Minicom 1.60, kermit, as well as comcontrol simply cannot open the serial
port /dev/cua00. The only time that I can access the modem is to use the
polling mode of the sio driver.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
