   Just get back  to the kermit> prompt, and background  kermit using ^Z.
   Then start up pppd from your normal shell prompt. fg kermit again when
   finished with ppp, so that you can hang up and exit cleanly.

Or   to  exit   kermit   completely   without  hanging   up,   hit  ^\q,   I
think...experiment with it, I know it's ^\ something. (c:  Be happy.
