I'm trying to install freebsd 2.0.5 RELEASE from an nfs mounted cdrom
(nfs server is running Linux 1.1.18) and /mnt/bindist/extract.sh is
giving the error "Protocol not supported" when it tries to run cat on
any "bindist.??" file. I can run cat or cp on any text file on the
filesystem, this problem seems to be isolated to binary files.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
