I am running Walnut Creek dist of FreeBSD 2.0. I am starting X windows
with the startx shript until I am sure everything is configured
correctly (here at home I miss the ability to telnet in and kill the
server only when I screw up the grabs).

Anyway, xconsole says it can not open /dev/console or some such. I
hate having to exit Xwin just to look at the virtual console. What
do I need to do? xterm -C also does not work.

Thanx in advance. E-Mail appreciated.
