I've installed a NEC 2Vi cdrom drive replacing the 5.25" floppy. I think I've installed it correctly. Is there a driver on the FreeBSD release that will engage this drive during install? This is the first time I've installed a cdrom drive on an older machine. I'm concerned about this for a couple of reasons: 1) The current bios version in this machine doesn't see this drive. Does it need to? (It's currently cabled as drive A but disable in the bios). 2) There's not driver software for a BSD install. I'm hoping this drive can deal with the format of the FreeBSD release. Are there any other surprises that I should know about? Thanks Bob
