Subject: [Q] speed setting for dialin lines ?

I want to set up a dialin line with a DTE speed of 115200, but I have a
problem with forcing the modem to the correct speed. The modem in
question can't be set expicitly for a given rate, it will have to
autodetect the speed through an AT command.

I figured this would be feasible by putting a few AT's in the initial
message capability (im) in gettytab, but no such luck; the modem is
always stuck on the last speed that I tip'ed it.

(The problem is not the 115200 per se, but rather any change of speed
from the last dialout connection).

Tips/solutions anyone ?
