Hello,

I am trying to choose an operating system for an IBM style PC with a PCI
motherboard, accelerated video card, PCI ethernet card and Sound Blaster 16
card capable of receiving multicasts from the MBONE over the internet.

Does anybody have any experience of doing this? Has anybody managed to get
either Linux or FreeBSD to receive multicasts?

Does anybody have any experience of fitting a video frame grabber such as a
Video Blaster in an IBM style PC and getting it to work with either Linux or
FreeBSD?

Hope somebody can help.

Thanks

Marcus
