i'm about to upgrade my video card to svga, and i plan on running either
bsd or linux, and i'm looking for a card that is reliable and compatible.
also, we run ms windows, so i'm looking for an all around perfomer. the
system has a vesa local bus; no pci stuff.

same question for the cd (ide bus). what are the recommendations? (i'm
looking for a cost under 250.00 for the svga, and 150ish for the cd).
thanks in advance!
