Versions of FreeBSD since 1.1.5 have supported IP multicast as a
multicast sender and receiver. Version 1.1.5 contained a slightly
dodgy port of the 2.x multicast forwarder and routing process; version
2.0 contains a slightly dodgy and ill-tested port of the 3.3 multicast
forwarder and routing process.
