I just installed 386bsd -- another new user! These are some problems I just
encountered, from the looks of the newsgroup I may have more woes coming but
hey I am still excited about 386bsd.

First: I am running my modem at 9600/19200 bps and appear to be majorly losing
characters. I have a 16550 AFN UART; does 386bsd support it? I think this is
basically a requirement. I want to get slip running.

Second: Is there any way to change the text color to green? I hate white. Will
ANSI colors work?

Third: 386BSD seems to want to implement ANSI/vt100 emulation, but it does an
absolutely horrendous job of it. I can't even get a decent gnu emacs screen
logged into my workstation. Maybe this has to do with dropping characters. Any
ideas? Any new terminal drivers?

I also want to report timeout problems doing an rz over the modem (sender:
DECstation 3100, using the same sz program, probably). And a problem doing
shutdown -todos; it says "cannot make dos active". These were reported by
someone else.

Looking forward to using 386bsd,
