When I run my 386bsd machine as a regular UNIX box it works fine.
But after I run X I start having some problems.

   1. If I have getty enabled on the other com port the mouse
only sends events after you press a key..(I've installed the new
   com driver by Chris)

   2. xterm works when ran as a regular user, but if you run it as
root it comes up and then dies, no error messages. The program is setuid
   root.

   3. The X sometimes hangs the machine and I have to reboot.

   4. The su command sometimes hangs. Putting printf's in the code, it seems
to be hanging in the syslog part. Either at openlog or at one of the
other log statements. syslogd is running and it does log messages, so
it works.. Also xconsole is running, but I dont' know if that is
   affecting it.

   Thanks for the help.
