In attempting to write the X11R5 device driver for the Diamond Stealth,
I am running into a brick-wall. The problem and a well known problem
is that Diamond chose to use a propieratory mechanism for setting the clock

They promised to deliver the information to me but till I don't see I will
remain skeptical.

Due to the clock feature, other X11R5 programmers experience with the S3 chipset, have recommended using the Orchid or Farenhiet S3 based cards.

Diamond may release all the information on how to program their cards. there
is a good possibility for this as some postings have indicated Diamond's
intentions.

My concern is if they do, then when will I get the information?

>From my point of view, If don't get my information by this friday
I will be more than happy to take the card back and get something
like an Orchid S3 based card.

Hope this helps,
