On a related note, I'm curious as to if 2.0+ will be able to handle
the PPP line discipline on a pseudo terminal.

Here's the situation:
I have a terminal server connected to a bank of modems +
ethernet to the FreeBSD box in question (still running .5.1). I'd
like to kermit telnet to the terminal server and talk to one
of its modems, having it dial up the IP provider which starts a passive
pppd for me. I'd then like to start a pppd talking through the kermit
telnet session (hopefully transparent :). This would free up a dedicated
line in the office (and make the previous owner of that line much
nicer to me).

Will this work?
