Hi,
My setup:
386DX 33MHz
AMI BIOS (04/09/90)
fd0: 1.44MB
fd1: 1.2MB
RAM: 4M
wd0: MAXTOR 7040 AT (40MB IDE)
wd1: MAXTOR 7040 AT (40MB IDE)
	Two Questions:
1) wd1 has three areas that get hard write errors. What do I do?

2) My disktab entries for the drives reserve 5 cylinders on each drive
for bad sector mapping. I read that one shouldn't use bac144 with IDE
drives. Does that mean that I don't need to reserve the 5 cylinders?

advthanksance
(thanks in advance)
Colin
